This is the most delicious peanut butter fudge that I have ever tasted, I have had this recipe for over 50 years and want to share it wwith others. It is my family's favorite and it is not at all hard to make. I have made it to take to bake sales and it is the first to go. I always have to make two batches.

2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 Tablespoon margarine
1 1/2 cup peanut butter , I use smooth

In a large heavy saucepan, combine:
sugar, milk and white corn syrup, cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
Test by dropping into a pottery cup or bowl of cold water.
When it is at the hard ball stage, remove from heat, add vanilla, margarine and peanut butter.
Mix with a hand mixer until it starts to loose it's gloss, pour into a well buttered 9 x 13 inch pan or dish.
Let cool completely before cutting.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
