Strawberry Smoothie Pops

I came up with this recipe after making more smoothie mix than we could drink. So I decided to make popsicles out of them. The kids love them, young and old alike.

Ingredients

1 pint of fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced
3 cups of ice
2 cups of milk
3 scoops of vanilla ice cream/no sugar added
1/2 cup of splenda
1 cup of sugar free whipped topping

Directions

Place all the ingredients into the blender, start with 1 cup of milk until well blended. You can drink this as a smoothie at this time or continue to make the freeze pops. It should look like a slushie, if not, add more milk. Pour the mixture into freezer pop containers, ice trays with toothpicks in them or use a dixie cup. If using a dixie cup, pour mixture into cup about 1 inch from the top. Next cover with cello-wrap and insert popsicle sticks/lollipop sticks or plasticware knives through the wrap. A great way to get rid of all the extra knives that accumalate over time. This will support the sticks. Place them in the freezer until frozen, better if prepared ahead and left overnight. Servings vary depending upon size of containers. 6 oz cups will produce 10 pops.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
