my mother made this when i was a child.

Ingredients

1c. uncooked elbow macaroni
2c.cream-style cottage cheese
1c.c Crnation evaporated milk
1 egg,slightly beaten
3/4tsp.salt
1/8tsp.pepper
2c.shredded sharp cheddar cheese
paprika

Directions

cook macaroni until done then drain well.
combine cottage cheese,evaporated milk,egg,salt & pepper.stir in shredded cheese;mix well.
stir in cooked macaroni.
spoon mixture into buttered 2-quart casserole dish or 9-inch baking dish.
bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned & firm.
