Cook the meat and set aside. Saute the onion, peppers and garlic until tender. Add the mushrooms salt and pepper. Heat through. Mix in the meat and cool slightly.
Roll out the thawed roll dough to about a 5 inch circle.
Put on about a 1/3 cup meat mixture, top with about 1 oz cheese.
Roll the dough around the filling to form a ball. Pinch the edges to seal.
Place seam side down on a greased baking sheet.
Cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with cooking spray and let rise about 15 minutes.
Brush with egg. Bake 350º for 16-17 minutes or until golden brown.
