Pumpkin Pound Cake

This is better than a pumpkin roll to me no where near the mess.... I have made this the past few years for the holidays, my family loves it...

Ingredients

2 c. sugar , 4 eggs ,1 tsp. salt, 3 tsp. cinnamon, 1 1/2 c. oil, 2 c. flour, 2 tsp. soda, 1 1/2 c. pumpkin............Frosting: 1/2 c. soft butter 8oz cream cheese , soft, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 lb powder sugar

Directions

Blend together sugar,eggs and oil. Add dry ingredirnts and add alternately to first mixture with pumpkin. Mix well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour........ Frosting: combine butter, cream cheese and vanilla and beat well. Gradually add sugar, beating vigorously. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired...
