Pumpkin Cake and Pumpkin Frosting

Great recipe if you want something with the pumpkin taste without making the pie.

Ingredients

Pumkin Cake
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnama
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup Libby's pure pumpkin
3/4 cup milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour
1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Pumkin Frosting
1/4 cup butter
2 cups 10x sugar
1/4 cup Libby's pure pumpkin
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice

Directions

Pumpkin Cake
Mix all ingredients for Pumpkin cake in bowl. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 mintues. Frost with cream cheese or pumpkin frosting.

Pumpkin Frosting
Mix all ingredients and frost cake.
