This a good recipe to make up for the halloween treats for thr children.


2 c. sugar 6 tbsp. margarine 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa 1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter 1 can coconut (3-1/2 oz.)
1 can chow mein noodles 1/2 c. quick oats
1/2 c. nuts (opt.) any kind 2 tsp. vanilla


Place sugar,margarine,milk,cocoa and syrup in large pan. Bring to a hard boil for 1 min. Reemove from heat and stir in peanut butter and coconut until well blended. Stir in noodles,oatmeal,nuts and vanilla. Drop from tsp.
onto wax paper when mixture begins to hold its shape. Let cool.
Makes about 6 dozen.
