Strawberry Pretzel Jello

this is a refreshing cool dish that I have at taken to Potlucks,Graduation Parties,ect. It is good anytime of the year.


2 cups crushed pretzels
3 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup melted margarine
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz frozen whipped topping {thawed}
8 oz cream cheese {room temp}
1-6 oz pkg strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2-10 oz pkgs of frozen strawberries {slightly thawed}


Mix crushed pretzels,3Tbsp sugar, and melted margarine together and press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until it starts to firm up a little. Cool and set aside.
Take boiling water and gelatin and mix until
well blended. mix in slightly thawed strawberries. Sir until well blended. Set aside. Beat cream cheese and powded sugar together until smooth with no lumps. Add whipped topping, and beat until smooth. Spread over pretzel crust. Pour slightly thickened strawberry mixture over cream cheese mixture.
Cool several hours in refigerator before serving.
