3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 TBSP butter, softened
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 TBSP baking cocoa
1 1/2 cup Nestle Chocolatier Dark Chocolate Morsels, divided
Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease an 8" square baking pan.
In large mixing bowl, cream peanut butter and butter together. Add brown sugar, vanilla and eggs, beat until light and fluffy (very important!)
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the butter mixture and mix until well blended. Stir in 1 cup of the morsels.
Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Pour remaining morsels on top and put back in warm oven for approx. 1 min or until morsels are glossy. Spread over brownies and let cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
