mix buttermilk,cornstarch,pepper,nutmeg,salt in a saucepan.
heat this mixture on stove until warm butnot boiling.add cheese slowly,stirring graduallyt until it melts.
pour the cheese mixture in your fondue pot.
cut a loaf of sourdough bread or french loaf into 1 inch squares for dipping.
serve with a mixed green salad.
