1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Add egg to mixture, beat until creamy
3. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg,
salt, cloves and mix well
4. Add applesauce
5. Blend in raisins
Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes. If making cupcakes, bake for 25 minutes.
The cake looks "pretty" with a frosting drizzled all around (I use a store bought CREAMCHEESE frosting - melted in the microwave for 15 seconds). This cake is especially good after it has been refrigerated and it freezes well. ENJOY!!!
