Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Unwrap candies and place in doubled plastic zip bags. Smash with a hammer to break them up into small pieces.
Slice cookies and place onto foil covered cookie sheet. Using small circle or similar cookie cutter, cut center from the cookie. Fill the hole with the smashed candies. Use left over centers to make flower cookies by placing 4 centers in a small circle and one center on top. Bake cookies 5-7 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes before removing them to let candies set.
Any cookie shape or colored candy may be used for your special occasion! Green for shamrocks, red for hearts, or what ever color you choose. My granddaughter is 8 and she loves to make Gramma's Cool Cookies!
