2 cups flour
1 pkg. Yeast
1cup warm milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup shortening (4 tbsp. margarine)
1½ -2 cups flour and beat well by hand. Knead 8-10 min. Grease mixing bowl-put dough in and cover. Let rise in warm place for 45 min. Punch down after 45 min and let rest 10 min.
Divide dough into 2 parts. Take ½ of the dough, add some chopped up pecans to it and roll to a 12 by 18 piece. Brush with melted margarine. (Melt 3 Tblsp.margarine). Throw on cinnamon. And sugar mixture (1½ cup sugar and 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon) roll up-seal both ends. Slice into 12 pieces
Grease two round pans
Heat 2/3cup brown sugar
¼ cup margarine (4 tbsp)
2 tbsp. Corn syrup
Pour into two pans. Cover with pecans. Place 12 pieces in pans. Brush with margarine and put cinnamon/sugar on top. Cover and let rise for 30 min in warm place.
Bake: 375 degrees for 30 min. Invert on wire rack to cool. Freezes well.
