Apple-Cranberry Crisp

This has just the right mix of apple and cranberry, and not to sweet. good heated with a little milk or whipped cream...have a bowl for breakfast!!


5cups thinly-sliced peeled apples
1cup cranberries
2Tbsp sugar
1/2cup rolled oats
1/3cup brown sugar
3Tbsp flour
1/2Tsp ground cinnamon
2Tbsp butter
1/2cup vanilla or lemon nonfat yogurt


1. In large bowl combine apples, cranberries and granulated sugar. Transfer to a 2qt sq baking dish or 9" pie plate.
2. In small bowl combine oats, brn sugar, flour and cinnamon. cut in butter til crumbly. sprinkle oat mix over apple mix.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for30-35 minutes or till apples are tender.
serve warn with a dollop of yogurt..serves 6
