Turkey and Fruit Kabobs
Easy to make. You could make it any time not just for after Thankgiving.


3\4 pound cooked boneles turkey breast, cut in 12, 1" cubes
1 orange, cut in wedges
1 firm pear, cut in wedges
1 green pepper, cut in squares
4 small spiced crab apples
1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
dash ground cloves


Makes 4 10" skewers
Thread pieces of turkey, orange, pear, green pepper and a crab apple onto four 10" skewers.
In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, apricot preserves, lemon juice, margarine, cinnamon and cloves. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Brush sauce over turkey and fruit.

Grill about 4" above medium hot coals, turning and basting until meat and fruit are hot and well glazed (aoubt 10 minutes)
