3 large ripe Haas avocadoes
2 large gloves garlic, chopped fine
2 tablespoons shredded yellow onion
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice
In medium bowl, mash avocado with potato masher. Stir in all other ingredients and blend well. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the mixture. Let stand for a short while to let the flavors marry, then serve with tortilla chips. Or refrigerate until cold, then serve.
