Pumpkin Treats for Dogs

Every time I make these my Pit Bull/Lab mix goes crazy. My two Pugs are very picky and these are the only treats they'll eat. Your dogs will flip for them too.

3 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1/8 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Butter Flavor Shortening
1 Cup Libby's Canned Pumpkin
2 Eggs Slightly Beaten
1/2 Cup Buttermilk

Heat oven to 400 degress. Mix dry ingredients then cut in butter shortening. In a seperate bowl combine eggs, milk and pumpkin. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until done.

Celebrate your dog's birthday by greasing metal cookie cutters then fill them with dough and bake until done. I've also used mini cake pans for different holiday's so the dogs can celebrate too.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
