Wonderful meatballs in a spicy Tomato Sauce



3 lb. Ground chuck
3 med. Onions, finally chopped
1 ½ cups soft breadcrumbs
1 ½ teaspoon salt
¾-teaspoon pepper
1 ½-teaspoon chili pepper
¼ cup plus 2-tablespoon milk

¾ cup Worcestershire Sauce
¾-cup sugar
¼ cup plus 2-Tablespoon vinegar
3 8oz cans Tomato sauce


Combine meatball ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Cook meatballs until lightly browned-DO NOT cook them complete-Just until brown!! Place meatballs in a 13x9x2 inch-baking dish. Combine sauce ingredients. Put sauce in medium saucepan and cook over low heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield about 6 dozen.

HINT: Instead of putting them in the oven, you can put them in a slow cooker on low for about 2 hours. Alternatively, you can fix the meatballs ahead of time, put the sauce and meatballs in different containers, freeze them, and get them out frozen and put in the crockpot on low for about 4 to 5 hours.
