peanut buter chocolate chip cookies

great easy recipe to make with kids.

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup vegetable shortening
2 eggs
2 tsps. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

mix sugars together. cream in peanut butter and shortening. add eggs and vanilla. add dry ingredients - mix well - add chocolate chips.
shape into ball press slightly onto ungreased cookie sheet - Bake 350 9 - 11 min. cool 1 minute on cookie sheet tranfer to wire rack to cool completely.
