Quick and different salad


1 head chopped Cabbage
1 bunch chopped green onions (or ½ med. White or Red Onion)
Toss together and set aside.

2 pkg. Ramen Chicken or Beef flavored Noodle Soup (the flat package)
¼ - ½ cup slivered Almonds


Coarsely crush Ramen noodle packet then empty out on cookie sheet with almonds.

Toast in 350 degree oven for 4-5 minutes or until mixture turns light brown. (watch carefully so almonds don’t burn). Set aside and let cool. (This step is optional.)

Dressing: (Make dressing and set aside)
Seasoning Packet from Ramen Noodles
6 Tablespoons Sugar
6 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
¼ - ½ cup Oil
Pinch of salt
Ground Pepper
Thoroughly mix

Right before serving: Add noodles/almonds to cabbage. Pour dressing over salad and mix well.
