Don't know how this cake got its name or who gave me the recipe, but I like it bacause its easy and tastes as though you spent a lot of time on it.

CAKE: 2 cups flour;2 eggs;1 tsp baking soda;2 cups sugar;1 tsp vanilla;1/2 tsp salt;1 #2 can crushed pineapple(undrained). Topping:1 stick margarine, 1 cup sugar; 1 small can evaporated milk;1 cup chopped nuts;1 cup flaked coconut.

Mix together all cake ingredients and bake 350F in deep cookie sheet 25 minutes. Mix margarine, sugar and milk in sauce pan, bring to boil and boil 5 minutes. Add the nuts and coconut. Pour over hot cake.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
