Best Beef Jerky This Side of the Rockies

Recipe given to me from an ol friend 15 years ago. His own made recipe


2-3 (about 4 lbs.) Flank Steak
2-3 c. Soy Sauce
2 tsp. Wrchestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Liquid Smoke (optional)
1 tsp. Lemon juice
2 Jiggers Whisky
1 Jigger Hot Sauce
Garlic Salt & Seasoning Pepper to taste


Cut meat into strips, tenderize both sides; soak meat in sauce mixture and place on foil. Salt & pepper both sides, lay meat across racks in oven. Bake at 250 deg. 2-4 hours. Leave oven door open slightly.
