Pepperoni Breadsticks(or cheesesticks)

Delicious breadsticks that are great by themselves or with pasta.


2 cups of biscuit baking mix
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tbsp grated parmesan
8 oz shredded mozarella(optional)
pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce for dipping


In a large bowl, add biscuit mix, water, and pepperoni; stir with a fork until dough forms. Turn onto a surface dusted with biscuit mix. Knead until soft, not sticky.
Roll dough into a 10-inch square. Cut in half. Cut each half crosswise into 14 strips. Twist ends of strips in opposite directions. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, pressing ends onto pan to fasten. Brush each breadstick with butter. Sprinkle with parmesan and mozarella, if desired.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
