Baked Sloppy Joes

Every kid loves Sloppy Joes, but they are so messy! This recipe solves the problem, making an easy-to-hold, easy-to-eat sandwich.

1 pkg. frozen roll dough, thawed in refrigerator overnight
2 lbs. ground beef (or use venison or turkey)
1/2 c. tomato catsup
1/4 c. prepared mustard
1 t. minced onion
pinch each salt and pepper

Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, flatten rolls on your work surface, extending dough to a 4" circle. When beef is brown, add remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Cool slightly, then, using an ice cream scoop, pile a loose ball of meat onto the dough. Pull up sides to close and pinch to seal. Place seal side down in a greased muffin pan. Continue until all ingredients are used.
Allow to rise 15 minutes, until slightly puffy, then bake at 350 degrees F. until brown, about 15-18 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 6-8. Great for potluck suppers!

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
