In a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 stick butter. Blend until smooth. Set aside.
In large mixing bowl combine flour with 1/4 cup carnation evaporated milk. Mix until dough can form into ball. If dough is too sticky sprinkle with additional flour until dough is dry. If dough is too dry or crumbly add teaspoonsful of milk until desired consistency is achieved.
On a floured surface, roll out dough into rectangular shape.
Spread butter/sugar/cinnamon mixture evenly over dough.
Sprinkle diced apple over dough.
Beginning at shortest end tightly roll. When roll is conplete press fingers gently on ends to seal dough at seams.
Using a very sharp knife, cut 1 inch slices from roll. Place slices in greased baking pan.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until golden.
When baked remove from oven and let cool about 15 minutes, then spread confectioners sugar icing over top. Best served warm.
Cover and refrigerate any leftovers. Can reheat in microwave. I never have leftovers!
