Guiltless Apple Dessert

When you just want something sweet, or crave apple pie, this is a very good, fat-free, sugar-free substitute. Also a fruit serving that fits in almost any diet.


1 apple,peeled, cored and sliced
1/4 tsp brown sugar substitute*
1 tsp butter sprinkles (like Butter Buds)
dash cinnamon

* I use Sweet'n Low Brown. If you use another brand, you will need to adjust this amount, accordingly.


Put apple slices* in microwave safe custard cup. Mix other ingredients and sprinkle over apple. Microwave on high for 2 mins. Continue cooking in 15 second intervals until done.

*If you prefer, you can just core the apple and pour the mix down the center.
