WONDERFUL LOAF TOPPED WITH SWEET GLAZE

Ingredients

3 C.FLOUR
1 1/4 C. SUGAR
1/2 TSP SALT
1 TBLSP BAKING POWDER
1/2 C. PECANS COARSELY CHOPPED
3/4 C. BUTTER OR MARGARINE MELTED
1 ORANGE
2 EGGS
1 1/4 C. MILK
1 C. DRIED CRANBERRIES
ADDITIONAL PECAN HALF OPTIONAL
GLAZE
1/2 C. POWDERED SUGAR
1 TBLSP MILK

Directions

PRHEAT OVEN TO 35O . LIGHTLY SPRAY BOTTOM OF LOAF PAN WITH COOKING SPRAY. IN BOWL COMBINE FLOUR, SUGAR, SALT, BAKING POWDER. CHOP PECANS AND ADD TO BOWL. MIX WELL SET ASIDE.
IN SMALL BOWL MICROWAVE BUTTER ON HIGH 45-60 SECONDS OR UNTIL MELTED. ZEST ORANGETO MEASURE 1 TBLSP ZEST. JUICE ORANGE TO MEASURE 1/4 C. JUICE. ADD ZEST, JUICE,EGGS AND MILK TO BUTTER WHISK UNTIL COMBINED. ADD BUTTER MIXTURE TO DRY INGREDIENTS; MIX JUST UNTIL INGREDIENTS ARE MOISTENED. DO NOT OVERMIX GENTLY STIR IN CRANBERRIES.
FILL EACH WELL OF THE LOAF PAN ABOUT 1 C. BATTER TOP BATTER WITH ADDITIONAL PECANS HALVES IF DESIRED. BAKE40-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN AND TOPS ARE GOLDEN BROWN. COOL IN PAN 5 MINUTES. LOOSEN SIDES OF LOAVES FROM PAN AND REMOVE TO COOL .
FOR GLAZE MIX P. SUGAR AND MILK UNTIL SMOOTH DRIZZLE EVENLY OVER COOLED LOAVES
