Teething Biscuits

I was reminded by my best friend, Vicki Blake the other day as she told me she is about to be grandmother of twins; of her recipe for teething biscuits we made for our kids 30 years ago. The kids loved them. Use any cookie cutter you like. Just remember your kids will forever remember these and whatever unique shape you give them.

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 C. sugar
2 to 2-1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring

Directions

Break eggs in mixing bowl; stir in one direction till creamy.
Add sugar and stir. You can add vanilla,if desired now.Stir.
Stir in flour gradually.
Roll out between 2 pieces of waxed paper(floured) or between floured pastry sheet until about 1/4-inch thick.
Press out with cookie cutters or doughnut cutter.
Place on lightly buttered cookie sheet; let stand overnight(about 12 hours).
Bake at 325* until lightly browned and hard (about 20 minutes).
