This is a twist on fudge. My family likes it for a change from the chocolate fudge we all eat.

2 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
1/2 stick butter
2 T. white corn syrup
1 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Combine sugar, baking soda, corn syrup, and buttermilk. Cook to soft ball stage, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and nuts. Beat until it loses it's gloss. Pour into buttered pan.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
