Mexican cornbread

This is really good, it is spicy hot, serve with a salad it is a complete meal.

Ingredients

1 cup white corn meal,1 tsp.baking powder, 1 tsp salt, sift together, add 1 cup sweet milk, 1 egg ,1/2 cup cooking oil and 1 # 3 can cream style corn mix together and set aside.
1 lb ground beef browned,pour off fat,1 large onion chopped, 3 hot peppers chopped, 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese, I use sharp,

Directions

Grease blk. iron 10 in. skillet, add 1/2 of corn meal, top with ground beef,then add chopped onion, chopped pepper, grated cheese, top with other 1/2 of corn meal mix. Bake 45 min. or until brown in a 375 degree oven. Serve While hot.
