Peaches & Cream Cobbler

For those cobbler lover here a great recipe for you. I uses this recipe not just with peaches.

Ingredients

Filling
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups (4 to 6 med.) peeled, sliced fresh peaches

Cobbler 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg slightly beaten
3 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoon sugar
Whipping Cream

Directions

Heat oven to 400 in a large bowl stir together all filling ingredients except peaches. Then Stir in peaches.Pour into 13" x 9" baking pan. In meduium bowl stir together all cobbler ingredients except butter, egg and milk. Cut in butter untill crumbly. Stir in egg and milk just until moistened. Crumble mixture over peaches; Sprinkly with 3 tbsp. sugar. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around edges. Serve with whipping cream.

2 (16 oz.) pkgs. sliced frozen peaches or any other fruit can be substituted for 4 cups sliced fresh peaches.
