Poppy Seed Bread

This recipe has been in my family for many years. Pasted down from my grandmother and now my granddaughter has it.

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. baking powder
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 T. poppyseeds
3 eggs
1 1/8 c. milk
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 t. almond extract

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Make a well in center. Mix liquid ingredients and pour into well. Stir only til mixed. Pour into loaf pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
