Boston Cream Torte

Very delicious dessert and looks like you spent alot of time to prepare.

Ingredients

1 pkg. banana cream or vanilla pudding pie filling (6oz.)
2-1/2 c. milk
2 cooled baked 8 inch sponge cake layers*
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 Tbs. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1-1/2 Tbs. hot milk
Dash of salt
* Or use 2 cooled baked 8 inch yellow cake layers

Directions

Prepare pudding mix as directed on Package for pudding. reducing milk to 2-1/2 cups. Cover with wax paper and chill. Split cake layers horizontally to make4 thin layers. Beat pudding until creamy. Spread pudding between layers. Melt chocolate and beat until smooth. Spread over top of cake.
