MEXICAN HAMBURGER SALAD

GREAT MAIN ENTREE

Ingredients

1 onion chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped
1 head of lettuce, torn into pieces
4 0z. grated cheddar cheese
8 oz. thousand-Island dressing
1.4tsp salt
1 bag Tortilla Chips
1 avocado
hot sauce
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
15oz. can kidney beans
3 fresh mushrooms sliced

Directions

Wipe serving bowl with a large clove of garlic cut in half.
Toss onion, tomato & lettuce with grated cheese, dressing & a few drops of hot sauce.(opt.)
Then Add crunched chips. Slice & add avacado. Brown meat; add beans & salt & simmer 10 minutes.
Miz with salad & serve at once. Decorate with extra chips, avocado & tomato slices.
