This is real simple and I bake it every year at Christmas. I make mini loaves and put in gift bags and give to special people who drop in during the holidays

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
6 eggs, well beaten
5 1/4 c. flour
3/4 t. salt
6 t. baking powder
3/4 t. baking soda
3 c. ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. pecans

Directions

Cream shortening until fluffy and creamy, gradually add sugar while beating. beat in eggs. Add bananas and mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 3 regular loaves.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
