HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HUNGRY FOR A NICE HOT BOWL OF CREAM OF POTATO SOUP, AND, DIDN'T WANT TO MESS WITH PEELING AND CHOPPING POTATOES, THEN THIS IS THE RECIPE FOR YOU. IT IS EASY-- AND-IT IS HOMEMADE!

Ingredients

1 BOX OF SCALLOPED POTATOES
2 c. water
1 CAN EVAPORATED PET MILK
1/4 C. BUTTER (OR) BACON DRIPPINGS
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
2 t.PARSLEY

Directions

IN A LARGE POT, MIX THE DRY POTATOES, ONION, PARSLEY, WATER, SALT & PEPPER, AND BUTTER (OR) BACON DRIPPINGS. COOK ON LOW TO MEDIUM HEAT TILL ONIONS & POTATOES ARE DONE.SLOWLY ADD THE PET MILK
STIRRING AS YOU ADD IT.
SAVE THE SEASONING ENVELOPE, THAT COMES IN THE SCALLOPED POTATOES BOX, FOR THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT SCALLOPED POTATOES. JUST ADD IT TO SOME PEELED, SLICED POTATOES AND ADD BUTTER & MILK AND BAKE 350, TILL POTATOES ARE DONE.
