A nice change from the ordinary!

Ingredients

3 oz. bacon
8 oz. chicken livers
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 medium onion
fresh ground salt & pepper
1 egg, beaten

Directions

Fry bacon & onion til fat runs. Saute livers, add fresh ground salt & pepper. Cook for 10 minutes. Liquidise and add garlic and egg. Place in straight sided dish, cover and steam for one hour. Ready to serve when cold or place in individual dishes. Cover with butter and refrigerate.
