Peanut Butter Cookies

This cookie is about 50 years old. My mother used to make them. They were so good that they melted in your mouth. You couldn't stop with just one cookie

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar(packed)
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 spoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 salt

Mix butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg throughly.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Mix the dry ingredients into the Peanut mixture; mix throughtly. Chill for one hour or longer.
Heat oven to 375. Roll into balls the size of large walnuts. Place 3" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour..crisscross.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen or 3 1/2 dozen cookies

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
