Directions
Grease well an 9" metal or glass pan.
Combine 1 cup lt corn syrup with 1 cup white sugar in a large heavy saucepan. Turn heat to high and cook till 300* on candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add soda, beating hard till well blended. Pour into greased pan. When cool (not long)turn out onto board and break into pieces. Wrap in plastic or basket wrap and tie with ribbon. Pile high in a basket and sell for $1 (just a suggestion)
