Melt margarine in hot water. Add sugar and salt and stir. Add cold water and yeast. Stir to dissolve yeast. Add 3 cups of flour and mix.
Add eggs and 2 1/3 cups more flour. Mix well and cover. Place in draft free, warm place until dough doubles in bulk. Punch down and allow to rise 30 minutes more. Make walnut size balls of dough and place on well buttered 9"x13" baking pan, 2" apart.
Bake in 350°F. oven 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and hollow sounding when tapped lightly. Brush with melted butter.
