Pumpkin Butter This is a greet recipe. my kids say its like eating pumkinpie on there morning toast


1 can(15 oz)100%pure libbys pumkin
1 cup applesauce
1/3 cup paked light-brown sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp lemonjuice


1.put pumpkin,applesauce,sugar,cinnamon,and ginger in a small heavy saucepan;stir until well blended
2.bring to a boil,reduce heat to low and simmer uncoverd,stirring often to prvent scorching and taking care of getting into the corners of the pan cook until mixture is very thick and hot and then ad lemon juice
3.when cool spoon into containers and refrigerate up to 2 weeks or you can can thisand keep it longer
