Ingredients
Cake
1. box of banna cake mix
4 ozs. of Nestles mini morsels
3 tablespoons of Nestle carnation, rich chocolate, hot chocolate mix.
Glaze
4 ounces of Nestles semi-sweet chocolate.
1 cup of 10X sugar
3 tablespoons of land o lakes sweet butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 or 3 tablespoons of milk.
Directions
prepare banana cake as per box directions. Then take the mini morsels mix them into 2 tablespoons of the carnation hot chocolate mix. Then stir into to cake batter. Pour batter into a prepared bundt pan. instead of flour use 1 tablespoon of the hot chocolate mix to cover the greased pan.
This will prevent the white goopy look of flour on the sides of the cake. The 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix added to the mini morsels will help them find their way through the entire cake instead of just the top half. It will also leave little streaks of chocolate through out the cake. Bake the cake as per mix instructions, it may take an additional 3-5 minutes for the cake to bake because of the mini morsels.
Glaze
combine the 4 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate,
3tablespoons of land o lakes sweet butter and
2 tablespoons of milk into a pyrex 2 cup measuring cup. Melt ingreditents in the cup in the mircowave at 30 second intervals. Stirring after each interval. Do so until all is melted.
Add the vanilla and stir in well. Then add the cup of 10X sugar. Stir if the glaze is to thick use some of the additional tablespoon of milk left. The glaze should be poured over a completely cooled cake. As you pour the chocoalte over the cake be sure to have some of it run down the sides and middle of the cake.
