Cherry Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread

Makes a pretty loaf for the holidays but is delicious all the time. Moist and sweet.


1/2 cup butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup each: quarted marashino cherries, chopped pecans, semi sweet chocolate chips


cream butter and eggs until light
add eggs and beat until light
gently mix in bananas, flour, baking soda
stir in remaining ingredients
bake in loaf pan one hour at 350 degrees
