I have tried different ones and this is my favorite and my family's favorite. It is rich and you will like it. It also is easy to make. It is devoured quickly at my house.


1 stick of butter
1-1/2 cup of sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoon meal
3 eggs slightly beaten
2 Tablespoons thick buttermilk
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Melt butter in saucepan and stir in sugar until soft. Remove from heat. Add eggs and rest of ingredients. Mix well with mixer until well blended. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 425 degrees (preheat oven) for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake until filling shakes slightly and is brown (about 20 minutes).
