A very popular cookie.

Ingredients

SANDIES - MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES

3 DOZ. - 325* - 20 MINUTES

1 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

2 tsp water

2 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour

1 cup nuts

Directions

Shape into small balls - baked 20 minutes at 325.

Cool slightly and roll in confectioners sugar

** I make these very, very small and bake 14-16 minutes.

Depending on size I get between 60 and 85 cookies instead

of the 36 listed. And I used lots more pecans - finely chopped
