In large bowl of mixer cream butter and sugars for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time beat well between additions. Add vanilla.
In another bowl sift together dry ingredients.
Add to creamed butter mixture and mix just until incorporated.
Mix in chocolate by hand or if you use mixer do not over mix.
Cover and refrigerate dough at least 24 hours.
When ready to bake pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Like cookie sheets with parchment.
For giant cookies use 4 ounce scoop and bake 18 to 20 minutes.
For large cookies use 2 ounce scoop and bake 10 to 15 minutes.
