LINE baking sheet with wax paper.

MICROWAVE broken baking bars in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. If pieces retain some of their original shape, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring until melted. Stir in candy.

SPREAD mixture to desired thickness on baking sheet. Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until firm. Break into bite-size pieces.

MICROWAVE morsels and vegetable shortening in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; STIR. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. Microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted.

DIP candy pieces 3/4 of the way into melted chocolate; shake off excess. Place back on prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until firm. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
