  • 1 (19 1/8 oz.) Nestle Carnation Cinnamon Coffeecake & Bread Kit
  • 1 fresh, firm baking apple (such as Granny Smith), peeled and cut into 1/2- to 3/4-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Dash salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Whipped cream or Vanilla DREYER’S® or EDY’S® SLOW CHURNED™ Light Ice Cream (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon


PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 8-inch-square baking pan.

PLACE apple pieces in medium bowl. Stir in lemon juice, Streusel Mix and salt until well blended. Set aside.

PLACE Carnation Evaporated Milk, egg, oil and water in large bowl. Stir until blended. Add Cake Mix and stir for 45 strokes. Do not over mix. Gently fold in apple-streusel mixture. Pour into prepared pan.

BAKE for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool on wire rack for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon if desired.
