Directions
HEAT tomato sauce and baking soda in medium saucepan over medium heat until very hot. Stir in evaporated milk, heating until soup is hot and steamy. Do not boil. Remove from heat. Season to taste with black pepper. Garnish with basil.
Tip: Consider doubling the recipe and freezing half for another time.
