Congratulations to Etha Anderson!

Etha won the 2004 I Love Baking Sweepstakes and $3000! Who knew her love of baking would be so profitable?

Etha lives in Carterville, Illinois and her interest in baking started when she was young, taking home economics classes. Now, when her family needs a pie, cake, cookies or some other delicious baked treat, they turn to Etha to do the baking. She doesn't mind the responsibility, though. She says, "I love sweets! Cookies, brownies, that kind of thing." No wonder Etha is a Very Best Baker!

Etha discovered VeryBestBaking.com the second time she attended a Taste of Home event. (With all the delicious recipes and baking fun there, no wonder she missed it the first time!) She came home, visited the site and was hooked! She loves the recipes. She loves the baking memories. But the part she loves best is...all of it. The wide range of topics and ideas is what she likes most, clicking through discovering new recipes one day, trying out shared baking tips another, or reading through the baking memories of other Very Best Bakers. And even though she's only been a member since November, she earned her 1000 Brownie Points by the end of the year and, actually, earned more than 1500!

When Etha received a letter in the mail congratulating her for winning the sweepstakes, she couldn't believe it was real. She asked her daughter to take a look to make sure it wasn't junk mail. It was definitely real.

"This was definitely a prayer answered," Etha said. The first thing she plans to do with the money is give 10% to the church and stock up her refrigerator and pantry. After that, nobody knows!
